Saving Gaia

No no... do not be mistaken. Gaia is not a dog or a cat waiting to be rehomed.

When Frankie and I first heard about Gaia from TV, we also thought it was a damsel in distress. But after hearing the conversation of the humans in the house, we realised that Gaia is actually referring to "Earth" (in Greek). In other words, it is synonymous with "Mother Earth". Over the years, the lack of respect humans have had for Gaia, is accelerating global warming and depletion of natural resources. Hence everyone should wake up to face such a fact. It's high time, when it is still not too late, to do our part in saving our dear Mother Earth. http://www.savinggaia.sg/

After burying my head into my pillow for a while, I have thought of what Frankie and I could do for our Mother Earth! Here're our contributions:

1) We shall pee & poo as much as possible for the trees and grasses during our walk. Don't the humans always say such waste resources can help the green living things grow big and tall? Oh yes, MM can also stop using those used plastic bags, since our poo is going to be reserved for the plants.

2) We shall pee & poo on the floor, instead of on the newspapers. In that way, MM will have no choice, but to donate them to National Enviromental Agency. Guess those newspapers are better off to be recycled in another way, rather than wrapping our poo?

3) We shall go for more regular grooming, so that we can stay cool in shorter coat. In that way, we will rely lesser on fan and aircon. *Hopefully the weather will stay cool often*

4) Since we have shorter coat, we will not stink much. Hence, we shall bathe lesser too. More water and electricity (coz' not using hair dryer and water heater) will be saved. Even when we pom pom, we shall use cold water. *Shiver*

5) We shall eat canned food. Then MM does not have to cook for us. That will save lots of water, gas and electricity. *Actually..... we prefer canned food to HCF. Heehee...*

6) Oh yes, we shall blog lesser. That can help to save electricity too (be it computer, lighting, fan/aircon...).

Last but not least, I do agree with the humans in the house. Everyone feels hip to be green, but do ask yourself you are really genuinely concerned about saving the Earth. At least I am not on the waiting list to buy the much-hyped Anya Hindmarch I'm Not A Plastic Bag bag. Cheers!

Nice bag, but isn't any grocery/shopping bag serves the same purpose too?
