Happy 2008!!!

YooHOO! The new year is just around the corner. In about less than 3 hours, Year 2008 will arrive with all the new hopes and wishes for the fresh beginning! What have you wished for? Or what resolutions have you made? Though the outlook is unpredictable with rising cost of living, I guess the mood is still upbeat with expecting pay rises and a better economy due to the integrated resorts and Formula One race. Hence I hope MM will receive a FATTER salary increment. Don't you know that? A higher pay = More goodies for Wynn Wynn and me!

As for new year resolutions, personally I do not believe in making one. I only believe if I WANT to do something, I will do and realize it. Wynn Wynn shares the same sentiments too. That might explain why she enjoys doing nothing much the whole day *Heehee...*. Well, in our last blog entry in year 2007, we would want to wish ourselves, our family, our friends and everyone a bucketful of Happiness, Health, Wealth, Peace & Love.

Our Fun Shots

Hui Jiejie took and edited our photos via her SE mobile phone. As they turned out quite hilarious, MM could not help but to join in the fun too. Okay, I feel Wynn Wynn and I do still look great in spite of the little dose of clownishness.

Happy Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas to All

Wishing you a blessed and great year ahead

The humans were home today, except for Yu Jiejie who did not attend the family gathering. Though we are not Christians, we would still celebrate this special day. When the day is a public holiday, the humans would normally cook up a feast. Today was no exception too. The humans had home-cooked popiah!

Popiah in skin and kueh pie tee

Hmmm... the humans' popiah contained no meat yet ALOT of veggies... Frankie and I were not really interested in those green stuff. Luckily MM had prepared a variety of meat for us. *Whew* Sometimes we feel glad that we are not humans after all. These humans just miss out the greatness in those raw meaty bones!

These are OURS!

Heaty = Cooling Time

As we kept releasing dark yellow pee pee and I showing more irritation recently, MM decided to stop all supplements and boil us some cooling stuff.

MM ransacked the fridge and found some suitable ingredients to make our cooling herbal drink - dried chrysanthemum and chinese barley. The humans in the family also drink that occasionally, especially when they feel heatiness. Besides having a cooling effect on the body system, Chrysanthemum also detoxifies the blood, calms the nerves and sharpens vision. Chinese barley is said to be more effective than the western barley. In fact, barley is a superb source of dietary fiber. It is high in selenium which is an important antioxidant. It also clears heat and detoxifies.

Our herbal tea (BEFORE)

However, we did not really appreciate the drink. We sipped the drink with enthusiasm but found it not that appealing at all. No matter how MM coaxed us into drinking more, we simply acted blur. That did not deter MM at all. Being resourceful, MM made jelly out of the herbal drink. Hmmm.... Wynn Wynn and I LOVE the QQ and cold cold jelly! Too bad it did not taste sweet at all. *We wish we wish...*

Season Of Gifts

Food! Presents! Are they all for us? *Yes yes!!!*

However MM said they were gifts for her coming Christmas gatherings with her friends. Har... they are not for us. So what will be in store for us instead? We have been quite good kids. Santa Claus and MM may give us a BIG surprise! Heehee...

A lot of goodies!

All the goodies were packed up nicely

More presents! Are ours there?

I Miss SOUP SOUP

We have not had our soup for quite some times. MM said after we have gone through the detoxification (hmmm... wonder when it is going to end) of our new raw diet, she would cook us nice soup again. Recently, Frankie and I have been behaving like monkeys, scratching here and there. The itchiness might be due to the detoxification, or it could be due to recent wet weather. No matter what, I guess we shall have to wait for a while more for our next serving of soup. Mmmm... i miss soup soup... and the pork pork in it.

Herbal chicken soup! *drools*

Can I have some?

Huh, no... Why?

WHY WHY WHY?!?!?!!!

The selfish bunch... *sob*

Something New Something Good

MM had been so busy in the past 2 weeks that she hardly had time for Wynn Wynn and me. But today, she's at home with us! *Hurray*

After our morning walk, MM went marketing for our weekly food supply. Guess what she had bought for us? They are DUCK WINGS! MM said it must be our luck for it was not easy to chance upon fresh duck wings in the neighbourhood dry market. Besides that, MM had also bought kunning fish. Hmmm... that sounds another something good. MM said it shall be a new test for us as we would be eating the fish as a WHOLE. WOW!!!

Kunning fish, beef, lamb, duck wings... HEY, no offals?

We are WATERDOGS!!!

CONGRATS :))

Today was a day full of happiness and blessings. It was the wedding day of one of MM's best friends, Auntie R.

MM stepped out of the house very very early in the morning, as one of her tasks of the day was to be the bride's Jie mei. There would be 7 Jie Meis (Hmmm... just like Ocean Seven?). Too bad Auntie M could not join them. Anyway their 1st main job was to sabo the groom at gatecrash. Sounds fun! MM should have brought me along. Can you imagine one of the tasks that the groom must do was to overcome the fierce me at the gate? Hiak Hiak!!! By the way, FYI, I may sound fierce, but I am actually very kind hearted.

MM and Auntie R have known each other for almost 9 years. Wow, 9 years is not a long time period, but neither it is a short one. In fact, MM and the other 6 friends have witnessed the whole love process of Auntie R and Uncle B. From the first introduction to romance, from the blossomed love to the union today, nothing beats such a sweet ending. Though Wynn Wynn and I have not seen the new couple before, we also would like to send them our most heartfelt congrats! You know, MM's friends are our friends too. :))

New BARF Meat

MM went marketing early this morning, for she could not do that on Sunday. Besides the usual chicken wings, MM had introduced a new meat into this week's BARF menu. We are having beef muscle meat and liver! Well, both Frankie and I have not tasted beef before. But the humans always say beef steak is nice and juicy. Hmmm.... our new menu sounds yummy! Let's also hope our body system can take the new food. Only then we can venture to try the others, like mutton or perhaps crocodile meat?

Menu of the week - chicken wing, beef muscle meat, beef liver and blended veg
